Rallies and rides
The Friends has been active organising rallies and rides as part of our campaign for the Inner-West GreenWay.

Among some of the events either organised or attended by the Friends’ group include:
The I Love GreenWay rally in August 2011 (see link to photos and video on our website)
The Save the GreenWay rally held at Johnson Park at Dulwich Hill, attended by more than 500 people in October 2011 (see link to media release, photos and videos on our website)
A NSW Parliament debate attended by more than 75 people following the collection of more than 10,000 signatures on a petition.
A ‘New Volunteers Day’ ride attended by about 85 people, which featured a guided tour of the GreenWay by long-time activist and Ashfield citizen of the year Nick Chapman.
The overwhelming public support we’re received at all the above events illustrates the community backing for our work.
